Herceptin Treatment #3

I had an appointment today at St. Joseph's for a Herceptin treatment. This was my 3rd of 9 that I will be getting at 3 week intervals. Last week I had a MUGA scan to make sure the previous 2 treatments had not done any damage to the heart function, and the answer is that all is well, so I'm good-to-go for the next 3 months. At that point I'll have another MUGA and we'll see how things are going - whether I can finish the Herceptin treatments or need to stop them.
I've had 2 naps today, and now it's time to go to bed and I'm not sleepy. My system is all out of whack. I'm definitely feeling the effects of the radiation as far as fatigue is concerned. I'm really counting down the remaining ones. I think chemo affected me less.
I've been poking around on the internet to find out about having watercolor original paintings printed onto note cards. I found a tutorial on printing them out on a Mac, which is the kind of computer I use, and I may try that to see how it looks. My concern is having the scanner capture the colors correctly and having them print on the right kind of paper. What I've found so far when I use our scanner is that the colors aren't true. I can make some adjustments when the scan is uploaded into iPhoto, my computer's software program, but that's not ideal. There is limited editing available in iPhoto, but I really don't want to mess with the paintings digitally to correct the coloring. That smacks of cheating somehow. I guess I need to give the whole matter some more thought, and I need to do some checking around at print shops and see what I can come up with. Stay tuned.
